Sh2- 115 and Sh2-116

About image
Sh2-115 is an emission nebula located about 2.5 ° northwest of Deneb, in Cygnus constellation.
Its apparent extension is 50'x50 'and its estimated distance is 7500 light years.
Just below the center, toward the right side of the image we see a round-shaped nebula: it is Sh2-116, considered for a long time a planetary nebula due to its shape, then a 1991 study made it clear that it is actually an emission nebula.
I obtained this image from my home terrace, with severe light pollution from street lamps but, above all, with very variable conditions of sky transparency across the 5 nights of exposures.
