About image

In Hercules constellation, besides the “big champions” M13 and M92 there is also another globular cluster: NGC 6229.
From our planet it appears considerably smaller and less bright than the first two, but it also more distant, something in the range of 100000 light years.
It could also be the remnant core of a spheroidal dwarf galaxy.
